The Center for the Integration of Spirituality and Psychology is dedicated to advancing the understanding of the human condition and its potentials for health, healing, transformation and growth through the perspectives of self-exploration and scientific inquiry.
Drawing from both modern Western psychology and the knowledge accumulated through the self-development of the spiritual traditions, the Center attempts to integrate the areas of theory of personality, human development, health, and healing for the most effective and practical application for groups and individuals.
The Center is founded on the belief that both objective knowledge through scientific inquiry, and subjective knowledge through self-inquiry, are equally important components essential for the advanced understanding of the human condition. This fundamental guiding belief, one which integrates the tenets of spirituality and psychology in service of deep heeling, has been inspired by the Center’s founders, Dr. Justin Jones and Ms. Sylvia Martinez, who have trained in traditional scientific inquiry, modern psychology, and religion at the some of the world’s most distinguished institutions while also pursuing their own spiritual practices.
The Center for the Integration of Spirituality and Psychology is engaged in research, offers lectures, retreats, and means for self-inquiry through personal and group psychotherapy for both individual seekers and professionals.
